Washington County GOP to open headquarters

The Washington County Republican Party will open its 2020 campaign headquarters at 4 p.m. Friday.

The party will host a grand opening during Marietta’s “Better Together” First Friday event this week. Festivities start at 4 p.m. and are open to the public.

Guests are welcome to tour the new headquarters, learn about upcoming campaign activities, meet other Republicans and chat with candidates and elected officials, including Ohio Supreme Court Justice Judy French, Appeals Court Justice Kristy Wilkin, U.S. Rep. Bill Johnson, Ohio Sen. Frank Hoagland, Common Pleas Court Judge John Halliday and county commission candidate Jamie Booth.

Hand sanitizer and face masks will be available. Social distancing will be practiced.
