Democrats may be embracing socialism in New York and Vermont, but American patriots in the Midwest do not want this destructive ideology to gain any ground in our communities. While politicians often promise that socialism will “spread the wealth,” history shows it only spreads unemployment and poverty. I call on elected officials to hold the line against socialism and instead defend our strong American system of free enterprise and capitalism.
