U.S. Representative Bill Johnson (R-Marietta) made several stops in and around Jackson County this week, including a visit to Montgomery Machine and Fabrication, located at 206 Watts Blevins Road in Jackson.
Owner Carry Montgomery and Chief Operating Officer Bobbi Montgomery gave Johnson a tour of the facility. The Congressman spoke with employees, saw examples of the company's work, and spoke with the Montgomerys about how the business has prevailed through a struggling economy over the last five years. HAMDEN — The U.S. House of Representatives may be out of session, but Rep. Bill Johnson said he's not on "break" while back home in his district following an afternoon venture to the Sands Hills Coal Mine this past Wednesday.
The Republican legislator, whose 6th district covers all or part of 18 counties throughout the southern and eastern parts of Ohio, toured the expansive above-ground mines and reclamation projects several miles east of Hamden and Wellston. Read More
